SNCF TER: Strike

Affected dates: 5th November 2026

Due to a national social movement on 5th November, regional train services may be disrupted, with an estimated 1 in 3 trains running during this time.

  • Check before you travel: You can search for your train on the SNCF website here. Any cancelled or disrupted services will be indicated in the results.
  • Plan ahead: Kindly allow extra time for your journey and consider alternative routes or modes of transport.
  • Stay updated: For more updates, please check the SNCF website here or their Twitter and Facebook pages.

If you have a ticket for a TER train and it is cancelled, you will need to submit a claim with SNCF here.

Refundable tickets can be cancelled, subject to normal fare conditions, through the Your Bookings page.

Where can I find more information?
For more information, we kindly ask that you check the SNCF website here or their traffic information page here. Please be aware that if your train is still running, it might be busier than usual because of the reduced service.
