Affected dates: 22nd February-09th May, 2026
From 22 February to 3 May 2026: Due to engineering works on the line to Bregenz/Lindau, timetable changes will apply on the section between Rankweil and Götzis.
- Train 970 and train 976 will depart from Feldkirch 10–15 minutes later.
- Train 979 will depart between Lindau and Rankweil up to 10 minutes earlier.
From 14 to 17 April & on 20 and 22 April 2026: Due to construction work by DB InfraGO, train 968 will not stop at Munich East.
From 20 to 23 April 2026: Due to construction works by DB InfraGO, the following changes will apply. Delays may also occur.
- Trains 960, 961, 964, 965 and 967 will not stop at Munich East.
- Trains 962, 963 and 969 will not stop at Munich Central Station.
- Trains 961, 965 and 967 will depart from Munich Central Station 40 minutes earlier.
From 25 to 26 April 2026: Due to construction works by ÖBB-Infra AG, the railway line between Innsbruck and Bludenz will be interrupted. Direct replacement buses will operate between Innsbruck and Bludenz. Trains will not stop at Imst-Pitztal, Innsbruck Westbahnhof, Landeck-Zams and St. Anton am Arlberg. Westbahn tickets will be accepted on regional trains between Bregenz and Bludenz.
On 7 May 2026: Due to construction works by DB InfraGO, train 966 will depart from Ulm 3 minutes earlier on the route to Stuttgart.
On 9 May 2026: Due to construction works by DB InfraGO, train 961 will depart from Munich Central Station 16 minutes earlier and will not stop at Munich East.
- Check before you travel: We advise you to check all the Westbahn timetables on this page before your journey. Also, direct replacement buses will operate between Innsbruck and Bludenz from 25 to 26 April.
- Plan ahead: Kindly allow extra time for your journey and consider alternative routes or modes of transport.

If your train is cancelled because of the disruption and you haven’t travelled yet, you can use your ticket another time (within 12 months of purchase). Alternatively, you can cancel the ticket on the Your Bookings page and get a full refund.
If your train is still running and you choose to cancel, your refund will be subject to the normal fare conditions.
