Affected dates: 1st August, 8th August & 15th August 2026
Due to planned industrial action by the RMT union, East Midlands Railway (EMR) services will be disrupted on 1st August, 8th August, and 15th August, 2026.
A significantly reduced train service will operate to and from London St Pancras, with trains running between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM only. We recommend checking your full journey, including the first and last trains, before traveling on these dates.
RMT members will also be taking Action Short of Strike (ASOS) from 2nd August to 7th August, 9th August to 14th August, and from 16th August, 2026 until further notice. During these periods, train services may be subject to short-notice changes and cancellations.
EMR Regional services are not affected by the strike action and will operate as normal.
If you have a ticket for one of the strike dates, you can use it to travel on an alternative date at no extra cost.
