Affected dates: 10th - 11th July, 2026
Due to planned industrial action, services operated by London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway will be disrupted.
- London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway will operate a limited service between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM on Friday, 10 July. On Saturday, 11 July, a reduced service will operate from 7:00 AM until the end of service. For more details please check here.
- There will be no services on the Snow Hill Line, Birmingham-Worcester-Hereford, Birmingham to Shrewsbury, Marston Vale line (Bletchley-Bedford), Camp Hill lines (services south of Birmingham New Street via Kings Heath) or Nuneaton-Leamington Spa (i.e. all diesel routes).
- All other routes will see a limited service i.e. Cross City Line (Lichfield Trent Valley – Redditch), Birmingham-Wolverhampton / Walsall, Birmingham-Liverpool / London Euston, Crewe-London
Euston and the Abbey Line (Watford Junction to St Albans Abbey).
If your ticket is dated for travel on Friday, 10 July, or Saturday, 11 July 2026, you can use it from Thursday, 9 July, up to and including Tuesday, 14 July 2026.
This applies to Anytime, Off-Peak, Advance, Rover and Ranger tickets, as well as Interrail and BritRail Passes. Please check with your train operator directly for more details.

- Plan ahead: Kindly allow extra time for your journey and consider alternative routes or modes of transport.

If your train is cancelled or rescheduled and you choose not to travel, you can contact our Customer Service team to request a refund. Please note that this must be no later than 28 days after the ticket expiry date.
