Due to a planned strike affecting Renfe services on 29 June 2026, some trains may be cancelled or operate on a reduced timetable.
The following minimum service levels will operate:
- Cercanías (Commuter): 75% of services during peak hours and 50% for the rest of the day.
- Media Distancia (Medium Distance): Approximately 65% of the usual services.
- Alta Velocidad and Larga Distancia (High-Speed and Long-Distance): Approximately 73% of the usual services.
- Check before you travel: Please check the Renfe website or app before travelling. We recommend checking your journey before travelling, as schedules may change.
- Plan ahead: Kindly allow extra time for your journey and consider alternative routes or modes of transport.

Which services are affected by the disruption?
Due to the disruption, many regional and long-distance trains will be cancelled. Please be aware if your train is still running, it might be busier than usual because of the reduced service.
