You can choose between First Class and Second Class when booking your journey.
Second Class includes Wi-Fi and power outlets. First Class includes Wi-Fi, power outlets, extra legroom, and access to a quiet zone. For more information about travelling in First Class, please visit the České dráhy website.
If you are caught in that unpleasant scenario where your journey is delayed or cancelled, you are, of course, entitled to claim compensation.
If your České dráhy journey is delayed or cancelled, you can request compensation by completing the compensation form.
Please complete all sections of the form and submit it together with your original tickets, confirmation of the delay, and any other required documents. You can submit your claim at a ČD ticket counter or send it by mail to the following address:

- Child: Under 6 years old. Children travel free of charge, but you'll need to request a free child ticket at a České dráhy ticket counter or from the conductor.
- Junior: 6–17 years old.
- Adult: 18–64 years old.
- Senior: 65 years old and above.
Please note age categories and discounts may vary depending on the journey and ticket type, especially for international travel. You may be asked to show proof of age or eligibility when travelling.
You can select your preferred seat during the booking process for České dráhy journeys.
Seat reservations are not available on all trains. If a seat reservation is available and a fee applies, please note that the reservation fee is non-refundable.
You can show your ticket on your mobile device when boarding, either in the Omio app or by downloading your PDF ticket.
Passengers with reduced mobility can request travel assistance and wheelchair spaces directly through the České dráhy website.
Please request assistance at least 24 hours before departure. If you're travelling internationally, or a carriage with a platform lift is required, please make your request at least 48 hours before departure.

You can bring hand luggage free of charge on České dráhy trains. Hand luggage can measure up to 90 × 60 × 40 cm and should be stored above or below your seat, on your lap, or in the designated luggage racks where available.
Some sports equipment, including skis, snowboards, sports bags, and small scooters, can also travel as hand luggage.

Pets are welcome on most České dráhy trains.
Guide and assistance dogs travel free of charge. Small pets can travel free of charge in a fully closed carrier measuring up to 90 × 60 × 40 cm. Larger carriers may be charged as oversized luggage.
Dogs travelling outside a carrier need their own ticket and must be kept on a short leash and wear a muzzle. Dogs can travel on most trains in Second Class, but restrictions apply in some areas of the train.

You can bring your bicycle on České dráhy trains that offer bicycle transport. A bicycle ticket is required, and space is subject to availability.
Some trains require you to reserve a space for your bicycle before traveling, while reservations are optional on others.
