SNCB / NS: Strike

Due to a strike in Belgium from Sunday 11 October 22:00 until Monday 12 October 22:00, train traffic will be impacted in both Belgium and the Netherlands.

Please note: Regional trains to, from and through Belgium are expected to run a limited service. Eurostar will run a reduced service between Brussels and Paris on 12 October.

• Check before you travel: Please search for your train using the SNCB/NS International Journey Planner. Any cancelled or disrupted services will be indicated in the results. We recommend that you check back regularly before you travel.
• Plan ahead: Kindly allow extra time for your journey and consider alternative routes or modes of transport.
• Stay updated: For more information about the disruption, please visit the NS or SNCB website.

If your EuroCity and EuroCity Direct train is impacted, please note that your current ticket is valid for the entire day on any EuroCity or EuroCity Direct train from 11 to 13 October.

Please visit the NS website for all information on ticket validity, as your ticket may be valid on another date.

If no alternative transport is available and your train has been cancelled, please contact our Customer Service team to request a refund or exchange.
