Affected dates: 23rd–25th June, 2026
Due to an ongoing heatwave and extreme temperatures across parts of England and Wales, train services may be subject to delays, cancellations, and timetable changes between 23 and 25 June 2026.
For more information, we kindly ask that you check the National Rail website here.
You may be able to use your ticket on an alternative service or travel on a different day. Please check with your train operator directly for the options available to you.
- Check before you travel: You can search for your train using the National Rail Journey Planner. Any cancelled or disrupted services will be indicated in the results. We recommend that you check back regularly before you travel.
- Plan ahead: Kindly allow extra time for your journey and consider alternative routes or modes of transport.
- Travel tips: Carry plenty of water, wear light clothing, and take precautions to stay cool during your journey. If you feel unwell, seek assistance from station or onboard staff.
If your train is cancelled or rescheduled and you choose not to travel, you can contact our Customer Service team to request a refund. Please note that this must be no later than 28 days after the ticket expiry date.
Refundable tickets can be cancelled, subject to normal fare conditions, through the Your Bookings page.
